Batch Export Clips with Original Filename?

Postby dwcdv » Sat Mar 04, 2017 8:05 pm

Hello,
I have been using GoPro for quite a few years, but never really used the Studio Software.
Now I have too many unprocessed clips, so I need to start working on it.
I tried to use just Premier, but I came across a problem: the straightening works very well, but is terrible slow!
My clips are usually 15-28 sec long. All are in 4k.
I am working on a Mac.
So the fastest workflow I found was :
Edit, Trim and Straighten in GP Studio, export as Cineform. Since the final product needs to be Apple Pro Res 422, I drop it in Media Encoder and export as Pro Res.
If anybody has a better - faster suggestion, I am gladly listening.
But there are my major problems:
In Step 3 I find only to export the clips one by one and it always asks me for a new file name.
I would really want to keep the file name intact.
Its ok, when you have just a few, but I have hundreds if not thousands of clips I need to transcode to Pro Res.

Thank you.

I found a solution.
And probably the best-fastest available.
In case somebody else comes across that problem......
here is the link:
