GoPro Hero 3 Wifi Streaming and browser access

Hi all, cool forum! I've got a gopro hero3 white, but I suspect this will work with any one of the hero3s.

So basicly update your firmware and set a wifi username/password. I uploaded this on the camera through usb and did the reboot. Then enable wifi, and in the settings on the camera also enable wifi app. This enables the webserver on the camera to be accessible on port 8080.

Get your pc connected to your camera's wifi

Use vlc to stream http://10.5.5.9:8080/live/amba.m3u8

This works while your in video mode (stops working when you go into the menus, start to record, or do anything on the camera).

This stream is delayed by a second or two, I'm interested in any solutions for a realtime feed. I'm sure someone can figure it out.

You can also use a browser and go to http://10.5.5.9:8080 for other goodies. Like stills and etc. 8-)
