coatings for housing protection?

Postby stargeezersunsetobs » Fri Oct 03, 2014 11:32 am

Hello, Has anyone ever tried a product or process for adding a protective coating on the outer housing just to ensure a longer lifetime? It's a quality plastic, but how careful must we be with protecting the lens area of the housing?

Thanks

i dunno what sort of coating you could use to protect it really??? if it takes a hard fall it will still crack regardless and there are replacement lens kits available incase that part gets scratched or cracked...
