Housing effect on quality?

Postby B.Nies33 » Thu Dec 11, 2014 5:20 am

Currently looking to order a polarizer, my question is basically does leaving the housing on the go pro basically to use just as a case have a big impact in the image quality? or is it better to use just a frame when possible? Any response/feedback is appreciated as I'm new to the forum and go pro in general.

Hi B.Nies33,

I'm assuming you're referring to the extra glass you're shooting through when you use the housing? I've never noticed a decrease in image quality. If you want to shoot with a CPL while your GoPro is just in a frame, check out our naked GoPro filter system, the WonderPana Go Naked Filter Adapter for Hero3 and Hero3+/4.
The GoTough line from Fotodiox features a wide array of top-notch accessories, filters, rigs and cases for GoPro cameras. Click HERE to check out our entire GoTough line.
