Premium Telescopic Pole by Camkix

Postby X5rdman » Tue Dec 23, 2014 4:17 pm

Well I received a telescopic pole from Camkix, and again they have out done themselves.

Pole comes with two mounts (Gopro tripod mount and a cell phone grabber mount), plus it uses a standard 1/4 20 mount. It is a very sturdy mount that extends from 16" to 47" and anywhere in between. The whole feel is like all other Camkix products, very well made and sturdy.

The pole is also strong enough to hold up my DSLR camera with no issues. A little wobbly fully extended but still wanted to show it can be used with a heavier camera.

It also contains a Gopro remote holder. Now it holds the Gopro well, I am not sure I would go jump in the lake with the remote just snapped on, a hard water hit, might just knock it loose. But on the plus side it can be slid up and down the pole about 4 inches to put it where you like the remote.

In the bottom of the pole (handle end) there is a 1/4 20 nut that you can use to add another mount. I was thinking this would be a great place to add a stronger strap for those super extreme people who want the extra security.

Overall I would give this pole a 9 out of 10. It is a great product and I love having added it to my stash of accessories.
