Wow... guess I ordered too early! Hearing of people pre-ordering the HD as low as $220 shipped!!! Oh well...

yeah the guy told me last week of october to first week of november at the latest. GoPro's site still says "expected to ship on October 30"... and i also saw the site with them $220 shipped. but oh well i still got a great deal on the camera + a battery for less than msrp of the cam itself.

I got confirmation from Go pro that THEY will start receiving the cams on the 2nd November and that they will start shipping on the 3rd... 
My guess is that they will look after dealers and commercial suppliers first rather than us wee plebs, but HEY! That's good ol' free market forces for ye!
'Cool eye company' in germany claim that they will get theirs on 17th November...
