Helmet mount

Postby byronmaui on Tue Dec 30, 2008 4:40 pm

Have the gopro surf mount and want to try the helmet mount. Should I buy the kit or is there a diy for either top mount or side mount on the helmet? I also saw some kind of head band and is it available? Any suggestions would be cool.....

Missed this one Byron, sorry.

You can buy any of the accessories from www.goprocamera.com

The head band is great with the wide angle cam and i think all the universal joints would be handy for you Byron for experimenting with mounts both SUP and skate board.

Byron,
I have the helmet mount kit, and I'd definitely recommend that over the strap. The strap could easily come off in the surf. With the helmet mount, you have a very secure mount. You can also choose either top or side mount.
