Just bought a regular hero, mostly because they didn't have a wide angle-has anybody (Rambo?) got any side by side comparison of footage from the two different lenses? I don't think that my wife will go for both this week followed by both next week when they come out with HD.

There's miles between the two lens field of view. Seated in a kayak the Wide GoPro 2ft behind me will show head to ass. The same view with the std Gopro i would need to place the cam 8ft away. I like the Std for certain shots and still use them.
